Glamovie.com – Paramount Pictures’ latest live-action project, “Dora the Explorer” is known to have started the production and shooting process since some time ago. However, this does not stop the studio from continuing to add to the list of players who will enliven this live action.
After confirming that the actress was “Overboard”, Eva Longoria joined the project to play Dora’s mother, Elena Márquez, now Paramount Pictures has also found the father’s role, Cole Márquez. Apparently, the actor chosen to play the character is Michael Pena, whose name is widely known after playing the role of Luis in the “Ant-Man” series.
Michael’s election as Dora’s father’s figure was considered not surprising. Especially considering the lunge of the actor who could be said to have skyrocketed some time later.
Michael is known to have just finished syuing the film “The Mule”, a criminal drama he starred with Clint Eastwood and Bradley Cooper.
In addition, Michael will also appear in season four of the Netflix series, “Narcos: Mexico”.
Besides being with Eva, of course the actor “Ant-Man and The Wasp” is also certain to join the ranks of other actors. Such as Isabella Moner, Eugenio Derbez, Micke Moreno, Nicholas Coombe, Madeleine Madden, Adriana Barraza and Temuera Morrison.
Live-action “Dora the Explorer” will tell about the adventures of a teenager named Dora (Isabella Moner) accompanied by her best friend, Boots the monkey, and her cousin Diego (Micke Moreno). All three must save Dora’s parents and solve the mystery of the lost Inca civilization.
This film will be produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. The three will continue the project that has been planned since 2015.
Currently “Dora the Explorer” is in the process of production in Queensland, Australia.
