Ant-Man 3 Will Be Produced, More Exploration of Quantum Realm – “Ant-Man and The Wasp” became Marvel Studios’ closing project in 2018. Since it was released in early July, the sequel to “Ant-Man” has successfully attracted the attention of movie lovers because it presents a new adventure from Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly). Not only that, “Ant-Man and The Wasp” also had time to explore the Quantum Realm which has been a mystery in the MCU franchise. Moreover, this film presents how when Hope’s father, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) traveled to this dimension in order to save his wife, Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) who was trapped for decades.

In the post credit scene, Scott himself once again entered Quantum Realm to take “energy” from that dimension. But unfortunately, he had to be trapped there because Hope and his parents were also victims of Thanos.

That scene certainly indirectly shows a correlation between “Ant-Man and The Wasp” and “Avengers: Infinity War”. Therefore, the fans were made even more curious about the continuation of Scott’s fate trapped in Quantum Realm.

But if you remember that Ant Man will certainly appear in the upcoming “Avengers 4”, then of course Scott found another way to get out of that dimension.

As if answering various fan questions, producer Stephen Broussard also said that Marvel Studios plans to make the third series “Ant-Man”. In an interview session with Empire Film Podcast, Stephen claimed that the upcoming third film would be in accordance with fans’ expectations, which is to explore more about Quantum Realm.

“I think there is something that can be done more there (Quantum Realm),” Stephen said on Screen Rant on Tuesday (8/14).

“We talked a lot about Quantum Realm and there is likely to be more discussion about the world. Maybe deeper than what we already know.”

Furthermore, Stephen seemed to throw a puzzle about how the figure of Janet Van Dyne was able to survive and adapt to the Quantum Realm for 30 years. The producer also emphasized that the production team had actually given a number of suggestions on “Ant-Man and The Wasp” so fans could guess the continuation of the story.

“Janet has turned into something and used different clothes and different weapons. Where did all that come from?” Stephen added.

“Maybe you will see something else that can be a clue as to where the next story will go.”

Although Stephen’s statement has not been confirmed directly by Marvel, surely fans have been quite happy after hearing this news.

But if “Ant-Man 3” is actually produced, then fans have to wait longer. The reason is, Marvel itself is known to be busy with a number of long-term projects in 2019 and 2020. (Glamovie).
